Up for auction is a Franchi 48AL. The Franchi 48 series shares the Browning Auto 5’s ingenious friction brake recoil reduction system – offering exceptionally smooth recoil impulse when properly adjusted to the loads you are using.  The aluminum receiver makes this a very light, handy gun, but the friction brake recoil system takes the edge off the recoil you’d expect from a gun this light.

This example is in good shape, however the stock is cracked by the trigger guard. The stock still holds on tight, but this crack should be repaired if the gun will be shot frequently.

With the stock crack glued, this example would make for a great sporting clays or trap gun, or an excellent bird gun.
