Up for auction is a Franchi 48AL. The Franchi 48 series shares the Browning Auto 5’s ingenious friction brake recoil reduction system – offering exceptionally smooth recoil impulse when properly adjusted to the loads you are using.  The aluminum receiver makes this a very light, handy gun, and the friction brake recoil system takes the edge off the recoil you’d expect from a gun this light.

This shotgun is in good mechanical condition. The mag tube retainer has been removed, however this does not affect function and is frequently done by people who wish to frequently clean the inside of the magazine tube. The stock exhibits the typical crack these shotguns get. The stock still fits tight, but may need repaired eventually. This would make a great sporting clays or upland gun!
