8x57mm Mauser • “dot” Code (Waffenwerke Brünn) • Very Good Survivor
Very good overall, with a great bore and only light frosting. This is a good survivor-condition example. Review all photos closely, since they’re part of the description.
The G33/40 is the famous short, lightened Mauser carbine Brno built for Germany’s mountain troops (Gebirgsjäger). Only a small number were made, and many were lost or worn out in hard service, so a solid example with a great bore is a real find. It’s one of the most sought-after German WWII Mauser variants and a centerpiece for any serious collection.
